There is no denying that ice hockey is the most Canadian sport! That is why it was an absolute MUST for our international students to experience Canada’s national winter sport and the by far most popular sport among Canadians in person. The Ontario Hockey League (OHL), one of the country's premier junior ice hockey leagues, is known for their hard-hitting action and bone-crushing hits – which our students got to see firsthand when they watched the Ottawa 67s take on the Niagara IceDogs. As the puck dropped on the game, it was clear that our students were in for a treat. The level of skill and athleticism on display were incredible, and our students were glued to the action from start to finish. The Ottawa 67’s put on a great show, and our students had a blast cheering them on to victory while enjoying the electric atmosphere of the arena.
What a great experience to watch some of Canada’s best young ice hockey talents up close and learn about a key part of Canadian culture!
